Alabama and Mississippi - More Arrests for Equality Riders
It was an eventful week as Equality Riders visited Heritage Christian University and Mississippi College.
Equality Riders Face Vandalism, Arrests in Palm Beach
Yesterday, Equality Riders visited Palm Beach Atlantic University in southern Florida, with the hope of productive, respectful dialogue with students and administration there.
However, when the Riders attempted to join students for a chapel service on campus, they were turned away. Six Riders remained, and were placed under arrest to be held overnight in jail.
Equality Ride Stops at Liberty University
Yesterday the 2008 Equality Ride kicked off their annual trip to colleges and universities with policies or atmospheres that negatively affect LGBTQ students.

I've been hearing this question a lot lately from important people in my life - my friends, my family, my girlfriend's parents... And when I first started, I would generally mumble something about empowering young leaders in the progressive movement. True, but pretty vague.

This is a blog entry about your life. Let me explain:
I just started working in the Education and Leadership Department at YP4, and I am still trying to wrap my mind around the potential for connections with the amazing people and programs here. I am hoping to use this space to pass along what I'm learning about how all of the elements at YP4 are interconnected, and can help us in our goal of sustaining and supporting ourselves and one another.
