REPUBLICAN CANDIDATE FOR GOVERNOR SEEKING TO REWIND VA!
Until recently, I knew little Senator Creigh Deeds. I remembered voting for him when he against Bob McDonnell in the Virginia Attorney General election in 2005. However after that election, I heard little of Mr. Deeds. Now, he is running once again against his former rival Bob McDonnell. I believe he is officially back! This time he will defeat McDonnell by a landslide! Why? Well, young democrats like myself are going to support him and campaign for him vigorously on sites like Face tagged, twitter, etc. We have to ensure Bob McDonnell's defeat and we must help to place this resilient in the Governor's Mansion.
Resilience is accepting defeat and advancing. Sadly, many great Virginia Democratic politicians who accepted defeat and disappeared from the public's eye:
Former Senator/Governor Charles Robb disappeared after losing his senate seat to former Senator/Governor George Allen.
2. Former Virginia Attorney General Mary Sue Terry faded away from the political spotlight following her 1993 misfortune against Allen.
3. Former Lieutenant Governor Don Beyer departed the statewide political stage following his debacle against former Governor James Gilmore in 1997.
All of the indicated democratic politicians ceased from the public after their upsets. However Creigh Deeds has proven to be resilient. He has affirmed the precedent of resilience set by Senator Mark Warner in the Commonwealth's 2001 governor's election. We are hoping to a similar comeback in 2009 for Mr. Deeds. We need Senator Deeds in office! We do not want to go back to Gilmore/Allen era!
Please continue to view my notes and blogs as I officially begin my personal campaign for Senator Creigh Deeds!
